Pacific University Oregon


Pacific University is a diverse learning community offering a unique combination of nationally recognized undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs in the arts and sciences, education, business, optometry, and the health professions. At Pacific, students build deep personal relationships with friends, mentors, faculty members, and academic and career counselors.


Pacific University uses the Common Application exclusively for undergraduate admissions. Students wishing to apply to Pacific should submit the Common Application.


Applications are accepted for both the Fall and Spring semesters. November 1, 2021, is Pacific’s Fall Priority Application Deadline. Admissions decisions are typically made within three weeks of receipt of a completed application package. We know that many students and families are worried about how this spring semester of your high school career will affect your application to Pacific. Please be assured that here at Pacific we do holistic admissions reviews, which means we take all of your experience, grades (including pass/fail), test scores, essay, recommendations and circumstances into account.

It takes hard work and perseverance to succeed academically. At Pacific University, we want to reward your achievements and make it possible for you to develop your talents even further.


When admitted to Pacific University, freshmen and transfers are automatically considered for renewable academic scholarships.


Incoming freshman students will be awarded on the basis of academic merit.  This will range from $12,000-$24,000 per year and renewable for all 4 years at Pacific University.

Letters of Recommendation – One letter of recommendation is required though sending two letters of recommendation is favorable.  Letters from core subject teachers are also preferred.


SAT or ACT Test Scores (optional) – Standardized test scores are not required for admission to Pacific.  If students are submitting test scores, we will accept superscores.



Additional Scholarship Opportunities:

To qualify for the scholarships offered by Pacific University Oregon, students must complete the application for admission and be admitted to the university.
