Monash University

Monash is Australia’s largest university with campuses in and around Melbourne, one of the world’s most livable cities. You choose your experience in this amazing metropolis; embrace the city nightlife, sip a coffee-snob-approved cuppa, snap shots in the famous street-art laiden alleyway of Hosier Lane, take a day trip along the Great Ocean Road to the 12 Apostles, or watch the Fairy penguins at sunset along St. Kilda Beach. Monash University Australia is truly a great place to earn a top-rated education and enjoy it too!

With a typical Bachelor degree of 3 years and a Master degree of 2, students dive right into what they’re really interested in; no need to do generals in their first year. Internships with major worldwide companies as well as vital work experience put our employment rankings at 59th in the world*.

Monash University is FAFSA-approved, so you can use this funding to support your studies. To apply, please submit notarized (certified) copies of your transcript (complete or incomplete), graduation certificates, passport, AP exam scores, and an SAT or ACT exam score if you have it. Monash University generally assesses based on this criteria only and does not consider extra-curricular activities or additional requirements.

Monash University takes into consideration your highest exam scores only, so submitting all information can only help your application. Due to COVID-19 there will be some more flexible arrangements made for those students unable to take exams.

The average Bachelor degree is 3 years long with no generals at a cost of about $24,000 USD per year for tuition only.

Financial Aid

Monash University students can use FAFSA to help fund their studies. More information can be found here:

Student Life

Monash University is Australia’s largest university, meaning there are always other students around and on campus. Monash hosts several social sports (club sports), including soccer, badminton, volleyball, cricket, tennis, basketball, and more. Students enjoy on-campus cafes, grocery stores, a travel agent, salon, and more. See more information here:

Campus Housing

Students can choose to live on or off campus. Our suggestion is to apply very early for housing as these places fill. Rentals near campus are also a common option. Please see more information about housing here:
